Description

I once fell in love, (well, not just that time but this one was pretty hard), in November of 2014 with a boy whom I thought I would be married to by now. Our relationship was, at the beginning, like a secret we kept, he was younger than me and he lived in Portugal, I was living in Paris. Then, five years later the love fell apart, it was hard and painful. I never saw it coming, not from him at least. I think he stopped loving me a long time before he chose to disappear completely without telling me a thing. I was left there, one night, He never came back... I just knew a month or so later that he was with another girl...that he cheated on me.

ABOUT THE AUTHOR

When she first started to write this book, Élodie Ferreira was going through a difficult phase of her life. She describes it as she was losing her mind, like living in a parallel world from which she had to escape as quickly as she could. A sudden urge to write came to her, words, sentences, sensations and pictures, everything made sense, everything was clear in this inconsistency that was her life at that precise moment.
